The dreaded banned Facebook Ad account is something has plagued most marketers at least once.  There is no real explanation to the ban nor is there a way to rectify the situation.  You just simply wake up one morning to see that dreaded word….”BANNNED.”

Problem is Facebook has such a huge audience you give up massive marketing potential by just moving to another platform.  As of 2021 there have been a reported 2.74 BILLION month active users.   That is 59% of the world’s social networking population and puts Facebook at the world’s third most visited site!  Google and Youtube are the only platforms that outrank Facebook’s traffic.

Throwing away an ad platform like Facebook is just simply out of the question.  Luckily there is a way to get around the dreaded Facebook Ad account ban.

If you follow these simple steps, you can be back selling your product in no time.

Step 1:

DO NOT USE THE SAME PAYMENT SOURCE THAT YOU DID ON YOUR 
LAST ACCOUNT. 

I don’t mean to scream it but this is huge.  Facebook will flag the debit or credit card that you used on your last account. If they see that payment source popup again, you’re out of business.

Here is what you do… Call your bank and report your last debit card lost or stolen.  Request a new card from them.   That new card will be different enough to get around the ban.  Once you get that new card, move to step two.

Step 2:

USE A VPN

If you do not know what a VPN is, a VPN is a virtual private network.  VPN’s give you online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection.

VPNs essentially create a data tunnel between your local network and an exit node in another location, which could be thousands of miles away, making it seem as if you’re in another place. So your IP address that Facebook has on file will not show up because now you are utilizing a separate IP address from somewhere completely different.
